Arsenal beat newly promoted side Coventry City 3-0 in a very promising win, ensuring the current Premier League champions could do it again as Mikel Arteta's side looks better than ever.
Arsenal scored the first goal of the 26/27 campaign through German international Kai Havertz, with a pass into the area by left-back Riccardo Calafiori in the 15th minute of the game Havertz was able to easily slot the ball into the bottom corner with ease.

Continuing their dominant first-half display, a shot by new arrival Christos Tzolis was saved by Coventry goalkeeper Carl Rushworth which would eventually spill into Bukayo Saka who made it 2-0 in the 23rd minute.
Although Christos Tzolis did not get the assist for the goal, he was pivotal in the build-up play. His Arsenal Premier League debut made many Arsenal fans across the world start talking, maybe he was the world-class winger Mikel Arteta and Andrea Berta signed by accident. Many Arsenal fans took to X (formerly known as Twitter) to praise the performance of the Greek winger comparing him to former Arsenal great Alexis Sanchez.

After a sensational first-half, Frank Lampard's newly promoted Coventry City side showed no signs of improvement, in the 49th minute Martin Odegaard chipped the ball after a ball from Ben White and ended up putting it into the Coventry City net to make it 3-0 to Arsenal.
After a great perfromance against Manchester City in the Community Shield, the signs of prime Martin Odegaard are starting to linger around the Emirates Stadium once more.
