Turkish side Galatasaray have made a formal approach to Arsenal for Brazilian winger Gabriel Martinelli.
Galatasaray have entered the race to sign Martinelli alongside other top European clubs, however many sources say Martinelli is for sale this summer but Arsenal wont entertain any bids till they find a suitable replacement. The Premier League champions are looking for no less than £40million to sell Gabriel Martinelli this summer.

Gabriel Martinelli joined Arsenal in 2019 under former head-coach Unai Emery at the age of 18, Martinelli has been a pivotal part of the attack for Mikel Arteta across his reign at Arsenal scoring a total of 62 goals across 278 games for Arsenal also gathering 29 assists.
However in recent seasons Martinelli's performances have been below par which has led to Arsenal searching for a world-class winger in the transfer market. Arsenal recently agreed personal terms with Real Madrid star Vinicius Jr. who ultimately has just signed a new contract with the Spanish side till 2031 and have also completed a £35M deal to sign Club Brugge left-winger Christos Tzolis to replace Leandro Trossard who moved to Besitkas this summer.

According to highly reliable journalist Ben Jacobs, said in a post on X (Formerly Twitter) :
"Gabriel Martinelli is a potential option for Galatasaray as no breakthrough yet in talks for Rafael Leao. Galatasaray made a exploratory approach to Arsenal over the weekend. Not a sale Arsenal expected to sanction without a replacement."
With that said, Arsenal are still assesing the transfer market and big signings are expected by the Premier League champions before the end of the summer transfer window.
