Leandro Trossard: Exploring the Beligan wingers future.

Leandro Trossard has been among the speculation of outgoings among Arsenal this summer, but the possibility of him leaving the club has grown increasingly likely in recent days.
Leandro Trossard joined Arsenal from Premier League side Brighton in the January transfer window of the 2022-2023 season scoring 27 goals and gathering 24 assists in 123 appearance's since joining the Premier League champions Arsenal.
As always, Trossard is among speculation for a potential exit this summer as Mikel Arteta is looking at recruiting a strengthened and more clinical front line after winning the 25/26 Premier League title, he wants much more.
Jamie Carragher strongly believes Arsenal need better attackers to reach their absolute potential and compete with Europe's elite, a point he emphasised following their recent penalty shootout heartbreak against Paris Saint-Germain in the 2026 UEFA Champions League final. Despite the Gunners ending a 22-year drought to win the 2025/26 Premier League title, the Sky Sports pundit argues that a lack of world-class quality in the final third keeps them at a structural disadvantage
Recent transfer targets include Aston Villa's midfielder Morgan Rogers who is expected to leave the Europa League champions this summer. Morgan Rogers will reportedly cost Arsenal between £80-100M to buy this summer. Rogers can play in the attacking midfield position but most importantly on the left-wing.
Another candidate for the left wing role identified by Arsenal was Paris Saint-Germain winger Bradley Barcola who is also attracting interest from Premier League rivals Liverpool. Barcola is expected to be a 'one to watch' in the market this summer as himself and PSG have been unable to reach an agreement over a new contract and agree a fair amount of playing time.
But most importantly, Arsenal have recently identified Cristos Tzolis.
Tzoilis has recorded a staggering 22 goals and 29 assists for Belgium side Club Brugge in 52 appearances across all competitions in the 25/26 season and could very well move to Arsenal for just £34.5 million according to David Ornstein.
A deal for Tzolis would reportedly not effect any deal for Rogers or Barcola this summer, meaning he could potentially sign as a backup option to to either of those two players.
Turkish side Besiktas reportedly are looking to sign Trossard this summer, and a transfer for the Belgian winger looks very likely this summer.
The Turkish giants are in advanced negotiations and are preparing a £17.25M total package.
While Trossard has found common ground on personal terms, Arsenal are holding out for a premium fee for the 31 year old winger who's current contract at Arsenal expires in 2027.
Arsenal are aware they should cash in and strengthen while Trossard is still worth a decent fee instead of letting him leave on a free transfer in 2027.
